marriages now in days

In my opinion, marriages now in days are not what they used to be back in the days.  I agree with what the book America now when it says that managomy plays a huge part in marriages now.  From what I have seen, marriages are happening now more by young people, more teens are getting married. Teens are getting married with the first person they claim to "love"without knowing they have their whole lives ahead of them.  Later on they end up meeting someone else and temptations or curiosity starts and that is how cheating starts.  For that reason they defeat the whole purpose of a marriage.   Marriage is not strong in America anymore because the percentage of people getting married is decreasing due to the percentage of divorce is increasing.  Love is not the reason why many young people are getting married anymore, the reason why they do is the physical attraction, the sex.
Back in the days from what I have heard, People got married either because either they loved each other or because they were forced into marriage because a couple had a baby.  People that got married for love, are the people that have grown old together and are living happily. The couple that were forced in to marriage grew to learn how to love each other and be happy with their spouse and family.  Now in these days, there are still couples that are forced in to marriage by their parents because they believe that kids come after marriage.  If you have a baby before marriage, the right thing to do is to get married and live under one roof.
The idea of temporary marriage to me really has no purpose.  It is a dumb idea to do or to even have in mind as an option.  Why get married if one is able to choose for how long?  Might as well not get married and just live under the impression you are.  Temporary marriage really defeats the purpose of being married.
To me, marriage is a beautiful thing.  Marriage is something that happens because two people love each other and are planning to be together for a long as they can.  Divorce should not even go through anyone's head if they really love each other.  The laws of after marriage is something no one should want to go through.  I cant imagine having to split everything down the middle with my spouse if it is something i worked hard for.  Without a prenuptial, no one really has control of who gets what after the divorce is final.
Getting married is something I want to do with my fiance when we are ready.  Having a baby together has shown that it is not easy being together.  Although in my heart i know he is the one i want to be with.  All i want is to be happy with my own little family and show my daughter what a happy and good family she has.  I know that soon I will be ready for the big commitment.

my name

The name my parents gave me at birth is Celeste.  At first I did not like my name because I felt like it sounded really funny when I, myself pronounced but it sounded okay when someone else said it. The name Celeste is latin and it means heavenly.  Not that long ago I also found out that it also means a really light blue.  For some reason baby blue is my favorite color and after finding out I though it was a funny coincidence. One day I asked my mom who had named me and she said my dad did.  But he made a big error when my mom left him to fill out the paper work because my name was supposed to be Soleil (soley) and not Celeste.  Once my mom saw my birth certificate she got mad at my dad because hat was not the name they agreed on, of ocurse my dad was a little on the intoxicated side when he was filling out the birth certificate.  In the end my mom ended up liking my name even more than my original name.  If I had the chance I would not change my name at all, it is the name my parents gave me and its the name I will keep for ever.  Its rare that i hear my name, its not really common but in recent times ive heard more often.
When i was in elementary school I used to always get in trouble with my teachers because when they did not pronounce my name right i would not raise my hand hand during attendance or turn when they did not call me the right name.  Since I was young I was taught that my name was Celeste and nothing else, never let anyone try to change my name or call me something that is not my name, so i did what they told me.  I had any white teachers and they called me Celest nd did not pronounce the e at the end of my name.  My parents were always called into he principals office because my teachers would say I would talk back to them when in reality I was just correcting them in how my name was pronounced and how it was in my birth certificate.  My parents were proud of me.
